I am a qualified hypnotherapist working in Leicester, I hold a BSc Hons in Psychology and a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and Mind Coaching. I work with both individuals and groups focusing on improving quality of life, after all we are only here once so we should enjoy it.

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique where a hypnotherapist uses hypnosis to help individuals achieve a state of focused attention, deep relaxation, and heightened suggestibility. In this state, the mind becomes more open to positive suggestions and behavioural changes, making it easier to address psychological and emotional issues.
Anxiety is one of the most common mental health issues in the world today, one of the benefits of using hypnotherapy for treating anxiety is no medication and therefore no side-effects from medication. Often people find immediate relief after hypnotherapy but even if anxiety does surface again it can be handled with the techniques taught during treatment. Like any treatment, people can react to it differently, I have a person-centred approach to treatment which many find to be a great advantage, but for some the treatment may be less effective.
When dealing with anxiety I will hold an initial consultation to understand more about your past and current anxiety symptoms and experiences. This will be by telephone and allows yourself and myself to identify triggers that precede anxiety episodes, noting any associated physical and emotional symptoms. We can then agree a plan that will best support anxiety relief.
Every treatment plan is unique but techniques including regression, post-hypnotic suggestion, relaxation techniques and anchoring are some of the methods that may be used.

We will work on identifying root causes of low confidence, re-framing your beliefs from negative to positive ones and help you to rehearse your new found confidence in a safe relaxed state.
